Commercial reporting, attribution and channel visibility.

Uniper is a major international energy company operating across multiple divisions, territories and business units. Following its split from E.ON, the organisation needed clearer visibility across website activity, paid channels, engagement data and departmental performance reporting. T/O Circa 6 Billion.

Revenue Pipeline Partners supported the project by helping streamline tracking, reporting and performance visibility across different web properties, business areas and teams. The work included analytics configuration, KPI reporting, paid search visibility and a more controlled reporting structure for national and international stakeholders.

The challenge.

Uniper had multiple website sections, subdomains and reporting requirements across different business areas. Tracking was fragmented, and attribution data could be lost as users moved between sections of the wider digital estate.

That made it harder for teams to understand which channels, content and user journeys were contributing to engagement, enquiries and commercial reporting.

The work.

RPP supported a more consistent reporting structure across Uniper’s web properties, helping to improve visibility across different divisions and teams.

The work included:

– Streamlining analytics tracking across multiple site sections and subdomains.
– Supporting clearer reporting views for different departments and business units.
– Configuring KPI and engagement tracking around meaningful user actions.
– Improving visibility of source, referral and channel data.
– Supporting paid search reporting and search visibility reporting.
– Creating a more controlled structure for monthly performance reporting.

Why it mattered commercially.

For a complex organisation, reporting is not just a technical exercise. It affects how teams understand channel performance, paid activity, user engagement and commercial return.

By improving the structure of tracking and reporting, Uniper’s teams had clearer visibility of activity across different areas of the organisation, while central stakeholders retained a broader view of overall performance.

Relevance to RPP’s current work

This project reflects RPP’s wider experience in commercial data, reporting structure, channel visibility and performance-led decision-making.

Today, that experience supports our work across B2B lead generation, outsourced business development, CRM optimisation and sales process and pipeline reporting. The common thread is the same: better data, clearer visibility and more disciplined commercial follow-up.
